Dinotefuran 20% SG is a water soluble granule formulation containing 20 % (w/w) of a third generation neonicotinoid active ingredient Dinotefuran . Dinotefuran 20 % SG is a highly systemic insecticide for the control of brown plant hopper in rice and aphids, jassids, thrips and white fly in cotton crop. i. DO NOT SPRAY WHEN HONEYBESS ARE ACTIVE. ii. Not to be used for any purpose other than those subscribed on label and leaflets.

Destroy the container after use as directed on leaflet.

Direction of Use

  1. Take the measured quantity of Dinotefuran 20% w/w SG add to small quantity of water, mix thoroughly and then add the remaining quantity of water while stirring vigorously. 2. Do not spray facing the wind.

Time of Application

Apply the insecticide, when first incidence is observed and repeat application as necessary.

Precaution:

  1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal’s food.
  2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  3. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
  4. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
  5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.

Symptoms Of Poisoning:

Headache, giddiness, vertigo,nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, diarrhoea, convulsions, excessive sweating, lacrimation and salivation allergic manifestation may occur.

First Aid

  1. If ingested: If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 to 2 glass of water to Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induced vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician.
  2. If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, preferably with mouth to mouth breathing. Consult a physician.
  3. In case of skin contact: Wash thoroughly the affected part of body with soap and plenty of water including hairs and under fingernails. If pain, redness or irritation persists, consult a doctor. All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use.
  4. In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persists. Consult eye specialist.

Phytotoxicity

The product is not phytotoxic when used as per recommendation.

Antidote

No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.

Disposal Of Used Container 

  1. Package or surplus materials and washing from the machines and containers should be disposed off in safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water pollution.
  2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
  3. Dangerous to re-use empty containers. Packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.

Storage Conditions

    1. The package containing Insecticides formulation shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of pesticides.
    1. The rooms or premises meant for storing the Insecticides formulation shall be well built, airy, well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension to prevent environmental contamination with vapour of Insecticides formulation.
